Celia's Puppies is the second book in the Serial Fiction called Denver Cereal. The series begins with Jillian Roper preparing to attend her ex-husbands engagement party in thigh high leather boots. At the party she is rescued from her own panic and insecurity by Jacob Marlowe. With the help of her friends and family, Jill manages to follow through with her plan and stun the guests of honor...And that is where I became addicted.
I absolutely love to read, and a good romance with a hint of action/suspense always catches my eye. To me there is nothing like getting lost in a good book. You forget about everything else bothering you and can imagine these perfect characters and live vicariously through their lives, even if it's only for a few minutes.
A few month's ago I was offered the opportunity to review Celia's Puppies from Business 2 Blogger. The series is quite unique as the author, Claudia Hall Christian, posts a new chapter online every week for all you addicted readers to indulge in. Now while I had never heard of a serial fiction before this, I'm realizing that it's something that can become quite popular because many of you are far too busy to sit down and read an entire book, so why not just a chapter a week? Believe me, I'll be tuning in as I'm addicted!
Now back to the book! I don't want to give away the story line as I think this book is one that you all should enjoy, but what I can tell you is Celia's Puppies is the perfect blend of romance, mystery and suspense all rolled into one. This book is very light and descriptive which makes each of the characters easy to fall in love with. The descriptions of the characters lead you to imagine exactly what Claudia Hall Christian was imagining when she wrote it.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to get lost in the moment with an extremely interesting yet easy to understand book.
